OSA Objectives

1. To support the moderate and liberal traditions of the Maldives.
2. To strengthen the foundations of democracy and human rights safeguards.
3. To promote democratic values and civil liberties, in particular freedom of expression.
4. To promote values of tolerance, peace, and good citizenship.
5. To increase civic awareness and promote self-reliance and vocational skills, especially among young people.
6. To encourage open mindsets, especially among young people.
7. To promote social justice, equality, and an inclusive society, within a liberal economic framework.
8. To promote ideas on political, social, economic, judicial and legal reform.
9. To foster a climate of peace, compassion, and community spirit.
