How we work
OSA activities are focussed in 2 main areas:
- Public events: these include public lectures, workshops, roundtable debates, and music concerts.

- Website: this very site is the central source for finding out about past and future OSA activities. The link to our blog allows you to express your thoughts on a variety of stimulating and topical issues. The OSA site is also developing itself as an information source that will give access to academic papers on subjects relevant to the Maldives. Finally, the site also provides important links (see 'Useful Links') to key Maldivian and international agencies.

" Open Society Association (OSA) looks to; provide values education, raise social and political awareness, strengthen foundations of tolerance, peace and social harmony, promote human rights and free market principles, as well as advocate political, social, economic and legal reform."
Through these areas OSA looks to provide values education, raise social and political awareness, strengthen foundations of tolerance, peace and social harmony, promote human rights and free market principles, as well as advocate political, social, economic and legal reform in order to attain an open and inclusive society. All activities of the OSA are non-partisan.
